Document processing · in pilot

From document to a reviewable posting proposal.

Constant prepares administrative work and makes uncertainty visible instead of polishing it away. A person checks the content and holds final say. Nothing is posted blind.

Test boundary: the demo runs on mock data only and makes no final postings, payments, reconciliations or tax filings.

01

Four steps, and the fourth is a draft.

Every step shows where the data came from. The chain deliberately ends before money or a filing is at stake.

01

Deliver

A document arrives in a shielded list, attached to the right administration.

02

Propose

Recognition becomes fields that can be checked, with their source alongside.

03

Review

A person corrects, approves or rejects. Missing data blocks the next step.

04

Draft

Only an approved proposal becomes a draft posting. That is where it stops.

02

What a tester actually sees.

Our own anonymised example screens. No client data and no product imagery borrowed from anyone else.

Example view: a fictitious test invoice beside the posting proposal derived from it, with the recognised fields visible.
Screen 01 Document to proposal Recognised fields stay marked as proposed data, not as established fact. Prototype
Example view: the review screen where a person corrects, approves or rejects each field.
Screen 02 Review and approval The reviewer chooses deliberately: correct, reject or approve. Clicking past without a choice is not possible. Prototype
Example view: a status overview that only reads and monitors, with no buttons that make anything final.
Screen 03 Status without dangerous actions Reading and monitoring are central. Executing actions is not available in the demo. Prototype

The last word stays yours.

Constant does the groundwork: recognising, filling in, preparing. The decision stays with you — and that does not change as the system gets better.

  • An entry becomes final only once you approve it.
  • Payments you start yourself, in your own time.
  • Reconciliation and filings stay with you and your accountant.
  • Anything unusual comes back to you rather than slipping through.

Where this sits in the whole.

Constant is part of the service, not a separate product you have to manage. It speeds up the preparatory work; the judgement and the responsibility stay with the practice.

If you would rather work without it, you can. The service routes run without this layer too, only with more manual work on our side.
